Head of Blue and White Benny Gantz to the Conference of Presidents: “I will rehabilitate the relationship with all streams and movements in Judaism and will implement the Kotel agreement.”

Wednesday, 19.2.20, Head of Blue and White MK Benny Gantz gave a speech to the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations and committed to implementing the Kotel Agreement if he becomes Prime Minister.

The Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations in the United States is a Jewish, Zionist organization that operates in the USA and under which approximately 50 Jewish organizations coordinate their stance and activities on Jewish, zionist, and Israel issues.

Once a year, generally in February, members of the Conference meet in Jerusalem with Israeli politicians, academics, and citizens to learn about Israel’s challenges and needs from different perspectives.

The Conference met with Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, Speaker of the Knesset Yuli Edelstein (Likud), MK Gideon Sa’ar (Likud), MK Eli Avidar (Yisrael Beiteinu), and MK Omer Yankelevich (Blue and White).

Head of Blue and White Benny Gantz gave a speech to the Conference and said:

“Jews are being attacked around the world in Synagogues in a way that is reminicent of dark times. Antisemitism is not part of the past. It is only a new face to the same ignorance and prejudice. As Prime Minister, I will be commited to protecting not onlycitizens of Israel, but all Jewish people all over the world and I intend to see this as a mission. I will rehabilitate the relationship with all streams and movements in Judaism and among other things, will implement the Kotel Agreement so that any Jew in any community will feel at home in Israel”.

Minister of Diaspora Affairs MK Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) spoke to the Conference and then tweeted:

“I am happy about this important meeting each year and this year as Minister of Diaspora Affairs I spoke about the commitment of the state of Israel to each Jew. The covenant of our purpose as the Jewish People is bigger than any political disagreement“.
