Chairman of Yisrael Beiteinu faction sends demands to the Likud for joining a coalition: civil marriage and giving authority to City Rabbis

Tuesday, 10.3.20, Chairman of the Yisrael Beiteinu faction, MK Oded Forer, addressed Minister of Tourism MK Yariv Levine and Minister of Environmental Protection MK Zeev Elkin from Likud with a list of demands for joining the next coalition.
The demands are identical to demands submitted by Yisrael Beiteinu for the 21st and 22nd Knesset.

In a letter MK Oded Forer sets 4 conditions:

1. Transfering the authority to operate public transportation and opening stores on Shabbat to municipal government.
2. Passing the IDF Draft bill as it was proposed (and passed in first reading in the 20th Knesset).
3. Legislating an option for civil marriage
4. Giving City Rabbis the authority to hold Conversion Courts
